Oxford Biomedica Solutions is the U.S.-based viral vector development and manufacturing business of OXB, focused on supporting cell and gene therapy customers from preclinical development through clinical and commercial manufacturing. The business was launched in 2022 in Bedford, Massachusetts as an AAV manufacturing and innovation venture formed from Oxford Biomedica’s transaction with Homology Medicines, and it has since been fully integrated into OXB’s global CDMO network. Its core offering centers on end-to-end viral vector services, including vector design, process development, analytical development, CMC support, GMP manufacturing, and tech transfer. The site initially specialized in adeno-associated virus manufacturing and later added lentiviral capabilities as OXB transferred its lentiviral platform into the U.S. facility.
