Pågengruppen is a prominent Swedish family-owned holding company, best known as the parent of Pågen, Sweden's largest commercial bakery. Established in 1878, the group operates primarily in the food and beverage sector, producing a wide range of bread, pastries, and snacks for the Nordic and international markets. Although its core business is baking, Pågengruppen has a significant historical and strategic presence in the life science sector as a founding investor and partner in Probi AB, a leader in probiotic research.
