Pacific Organics is a specialized chemical synthesis company and a subsidiary of Cambridge Isotope Laboratories (CIL), based in Los Alamos, New Mexico. The company is a premier provider of stable isotope-labeled compounds, specializing in the custom synthesis of complex organic molecules labeled with Carbon-13, Nitrogen-15, and Deuterium. Its products and services are critical for researchers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and diagnostic industries, supporting applications such as metabolic profiling, quantitative proteomics, and drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) studies. Originally an independent entity founded by experts from the Los Alamos National Laboratory, Pacific Organics was acquired by CIL in 2001 to leverage its unique expertise in high-purity isotope labeling and custom synthesis.
