Pali Capital was a New York-based boutique investment bank and broker-dealer that operated from the mid-1990s until its closure in 2010. While not a life sciences company itself, it was a prominent player in the healthcare sector through its equity research and investment banking divisions, which specialized in biotechnology and pharmaceutical financing. The firm was well-known for its aggressive coverage of small- and mid-cap biotech companies and its involvement in numerous initial public offerings and secondary offerings within the sector. Following internal management disputes and financial difficulties during the post-2008 financial crisis period, the company ceased operations and entered liquidation.
