Palladium Diagnostics is an early-stage U.S.-based biotech specializing in the design/development/manufacture of innovative rapid point-of-care diagnostic tests—including COVID‑19 antigen kits—and custom laboratory services such as protein purification/assay validation. Founded by Jeff Bauer’s team after relocating from San Diego CA to Las Cruces NM’s Arrowhead Park tech cluster near NMSU campus late 2023–early 2024, it leverages regional resources/collaborations while preparing major scale-up into high-throughput kit production that could create dozens of local jobs. Its leadership brings extensive prior success developing FDA-cleared molecular/lateral-flow devices across multiple infectious disease indications, though it does not operate a classic “pipeline” model typical for therapeutics companies.
