Company intelligence / Profile preview
Pandion Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing modular protein therapeutics for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. The company's proprietary TALON platform enables the design of bispecific proteins that combine an immune effector module, such as a Treg-selective IL-2 mutein, with a tissue-targeting module to localize immune suppression to specific organs. Its lead candidate, PT101 (now MK-6194), is a systemic Treg activator being evaluated for the treatment of ulcerative colitis and systemic lupus erythematosus. Pandion was acquired by Merck (known as MSD outside the U.S. and Canada) in 2021 for approximately $1.85 billion to strengthen Merck's immunology pipeline.
