Pankajakasthuri Herbal Research Foundation (PKHRF) is the dedicated research and development wing of Pankajakasthuri Herbals India Private Limited, established in 2001 under the vision of Padma Shri Dr. J. Hareendran Nair. Located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, the foundation bridges traditional Ayurvedic wisdom with modern scientific methodologies to develop evidence-based herbal and herbo-mineral formulations. PKHRF operates state-of-the-art facilities, including preclinical animal houses, phytochemistry, microbiology, and clinical trial departments, to conduct rigorous safety, toxicity, and efficacy studies. Its research has led to the development and patenting of over 100 proprietary Ayurvedic products, including its flagship respiratory support formulation Breathe Eazy and the clinically validated antiviral tablet ZingiVir-H.
