Overview
PanTher Therapeutics has developed the Sagittari™ platform for localized, sustained release of oncology drugs directly at the tumor site. Their lead candidate, PTM‑101 for pancreatic cancer using paclitaxel implants, has completed a small Phase I study showing local response and excellent safety with no serious adverse events or systemic toxicity. The company reports over a hundredfold increase in drug concentration at the tumor compared to systemic administration and minimal side effects. Additional programs are advancing preclinically.
