Parkland Cares

Parkland Cares is a non-profit organization based in South Florida that provides funding and awareness for mental health and trauma care services. Established in 2018 following the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School tragedy, the organization awards grants to local non-profit agencies that offer counseling, crisis intervention, and long-term therapy to individuals and families affected by trauma. While initially focused on the Parkland and Coral Springs communities, its mission has expanded to support trauma survivors throughout the South Florida region. Parkland Cares also serves as a centralized resource hub, connecting those in need with reputable behavioral health providers. To date, the organization has distributed over $1.1 million in grant funding to support community mental health initiatives.
