Particle3D

Particle3D is a Danish medtech company developing patient-specific, resorbable 3D-printed bone implants for reconstruction of human bone defects. The company was founded as a spin-out from the University of Southern Denmark and built its platform around a proprietary bio-ink and additive manufacturing process for bone-like implants. Particle3D later rebranded to Ossiform, which now markets research-use P3D Scaffolds and is advancing Ossiform Bone implants for orthopedic and craniofacial applications. Its products are designed to support bone ingrowth, vascularization, osseointegration, and gradual resorption, with the long-term goal of replacing conventional foreign-body implants and variable allografts. As of 2026, the company appears to remain preclinical, with ISO 13485 certification and commercialization efforts focused on research products and future implant approval.
