ProfoundBio (formerly Pasture Drive Holdings) is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the development of next-generation antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for oncology. The company's proprietary platform utilizes novel hydrophilic linkers and high drug-to-antibody ratios (DAR) to enhance the therapeutic index of its candidates. Its lead asset, rinatabart sesutecan (Rina-S), targets folate receptor alpha (FRα) and is currently in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for ovarian and endometrial cancers. Founded in 2018 by a team of ADC experts from Seagen, ProfoundBio was acquired by Genmab in May 2024 for $1.8 billion. The acquisition integrates ProfoundBio's innovative ADC technologies and clinical-stage pipeline into Genmab's broader portfolio of antibody-based therapeutics.
