Overview
PathoVax is developing RGVax, a broad-spectrum, potentially universal human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine based on RG1-VLP technology licensed from Johns Hopkins University and Medical University of Vienna. Preclinical studies have shown protection against a broad range of high-risk HPV types, and an IND for the monovalent HPV16 RG1‑VLP component has been cleared by the FDA, enabling an academic-led, first‑in‑human, multicenter Phase 1 trial in the United States and Austria to evaluate safety and immunogenicity.[2][4]
