Patterson Medical Holdings

Patterson Medical was a commercial-stage healthcare products company focused on rehabilitation, recovery, sports medicine, assistive living, and physical and occupational therapy supplies. The business operated primarily as a distributor and branded supplier of medical devices and therapy products rather than as a drug developer. It was headquartered in Warrenville, Illinois and marketed a broad catalog used by hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and home care settings. In 2015, Madison Dearborn Partners acquired Patterson Medical from Patterson Companies, and in 2016 Patterson Medical announced the acquisition of Performance Health. The Patterson Medical name was subsequently folded into Performance Health, so Patterson Medical Holdings appears to be a legacy/acquired legal entity rather than an independently operating company today.
