PCI Ventures

PCI Ventures is the venture-creation arm of the Penn Center for Innovation at the University of Pennsylvania. It is not a single-product biotech developer; rather, it builds, incubates, and supports early-stage companies based on Penn technologies across therapeutics, diagnostics, devices, digital health, and other sectors. The organization works with Penn inventors on company formation, entrepreneur recruitment, fundraising, commercialization strategy, and operational setup through programs including UPstart, UPadvisors, and Venture WarmUP. PCI Ventures has helped launch a large portfolio of Penn spinouts and serves as an important part of the Philadelphia life sciences and innovation ecosystem.
