Company intelligence / Profile preview
The PCPI Foundation was a prominent non-profit organization dedicated to improving patient health outcomes through the development and implementation of clinical performance measures. Originally established by the American Medical Association (AMA) as the Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement, it transitioned into an independent entity in 2017 to foster broader collaboration across the healthcare industry. The foundation was widely recognized for managing the National Quality Registry Network (NQRN) and for creating evidence-based measures used in federal reporting programs and clinical registries. In December 2020, the PCPI Foundation ceased its operations and transitioned its intellectual property, including its measurement sets, to various partner organizations to ensure the continued advancement of healthcare quality.
