PDC Aseptic Filling Systems was a U.S.-based supplier of aseptic filling systems and sealing equipment for the biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. The company focused on single-use, automated fill-and-finish equipment designed to reduce cross-contamination risk, lower cleaning and documentation burden, and improve productivity in sterile processing operations. Its technology became part of Meissner after Meissner acquired the company in January 2018. Following the acquisition, PDC’s core product line appears to have been integrated into Meissner’s AccuFill aseptic filling systems portfolio. PDC was not a therapeutic developer; it was a commercial-stage provider of manufacturing equipment used in drug production.
