Peakadilly

Peakadilly was a Belgian biotechnology company founded in 2004 as a spin-off from the Flanders Institute for Biotechnology (VIB) and Ghent University. The company specialized in proteomics-based biomarker discovery using its proprietary COFRADIC (Combined Fractional Diagonal Chromatography) technology. This platform enabled the highly sensitive identification of protein alterations and processing in complex biological samples, such as blood and tissue. Peakadilly's business model focused on identifying novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets for various diseases, including oncology and inflammatory conditions. The company was subsequently acquired by Pronota to integrate its discovery engine into a broader diagnostic development pipeline.
