PedAL BCU, LLC is a specialized entity established by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to serve as the lead sponsor and operational hub for the Pediatric Acute Leukemia (PedAL) Master Clinical Trial. This global initiative is a cornerstone of LLS's "Dare to Dream" project, aiming to revolutionize treatment for children with relapsed or refractory acute leukemia through a precision medicine approach. PedAL BCU coordinates a network of sub-trials that match patients to targeted therapies based on their unique genomic profiles, while simultaneously building a comprehensive international database of pediatric leukemia. The organization collaborates extensively with the Children's Oncology Group (COG), the National Cancer Institute (NCI), and various pharmaceutical partners to accelerate the development of safer and more effective pediatric cancer treatments.
