Peking University International Hospital

Peking University International Hospital is a large-scale, tertiary general hospital located in Beijing, China, serving as a flagship medical institution within the Zhongguancun Life Science Park. Established in 2014 through a joint effort by Peking University and the Founder Group, it was designed to integrate high-end clinical care with academic research and medical education. The hospital features over 1,800 beds and more than 60 clinical departments, offering comprehensive services ranging from internal medicine to specialized surgical oncology. In 2021, following the bankruptcy and restructuring of the Founder Group, the hospital was acquired by Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China. It operates as a key component of Ping An's healthcare ecosystem, focusing on international standards of patient safety and medical excellence. The facility is also a major site for clinical trials and translational medicine in the region.
