Pennwalt

Pennwalt is a company with a dual history. The original US entity, a diversified chemical and pharmaceutical corporation, ceased independent operations after selling its pharma division to Fisons PLC in 1988. The active Indian entity, Pennwalt Private Limited, founded in 1959, is a manufacturer of advanced separation and process technologies for the chemical processing, biotechnology, and water treatment industries. It supplies critical bioprocessing hardware such as laboratory supercentrifuges widely used across vaccine production and blood fractionation sectors, but does not develop drugs or biologics, nor does it act as a CDMO or CRO.
