Pepsi Bottling Group

The Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG) was the world's largest manufacturer, seller, and distributor of PepsiCo beverages prior to its re-acquisition by PepsiCo. The company operated across several international markets, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Russia, and Spain, accounting for more than half of the Pepsi-Cola beverages sold in North America. Its portfolio featured globally recognized brands such as Pepsi-Cola, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, and Aquafina. In 2010, PepsiCo acquired the company to integrate its bottling operations, streamline the supply chain, and enhance its go-to-market speed. While not a healthcare company, PBG maintained massive manufacturing and logistics infrastructure for consumer liquid products.
