Periotherapia has developed neutralizing monoclonal antibodies targeting splicing variants of pathological periostin, showing promising preclinical safety (selective targeting avoids physiological periostin inhibition) and is beginning Phase 1 clinical trials for metastatic and recurrent HER2-negative breast cancer.
