Perot Systems

Perot Systems was a major global provider of information technology services and business process outsourcing, founded in 1988 by H. Ross Perot. The company established a significant footprint in the healthcare industry, becoming a leading provider of clinical and administrative systems, electronic health record (EHR) implementation, and revenue cycle management for hospitals and healthcare providers. In 2009, the company was acquired by Dell for approximately $3.9 billion to form the core of Dell Services. The business unit was later sold by Dell to NTT DATA in 2016, where its healthcare IT capabilities continue to operate under the NTT DATA Services brand.
