PFS Genomics

PFS Genomics was a private precision oncology diagnostics company focused on personalizing treatment decisions for breast cancer patients. The company developed genomic tests intended to identify which women with early-stage invasive breast cancer are likely, or unlikely, to benefit from adjuvant radiotherapy after breast-conserving surgery. Its business centered on cancer treatment guidance rather than therapeutic drug development, using gene-expression-based classifiers to reduce unnecessary treatment while improving outcomes. PFS Genomics was founded in 2015 and was acquired by Exact Sciences in May 2021. Following the acquisition, it appears to have ceased operating as an independent company.
