PGG Wrightson Seeds is a New Zealand-origin agricultural seed company focused on forage, pasture, brassica, turf, cereal, pulse, and edible grain seed products rather than human healthcare. The company operates across seed research and development, plant breeding, seed multiplication, contracted production, processing, distribution, and agronomy support. It is a market leader in New Zealand and serves customers in Australia and more than 50 export markets, with particular strength in temperate forage species and endophyte-enabled pasture products. PGG Wrightson Seeds has invested heavily in forage and endophyte R&D and works with research partners such as AgResearch and Plant & Food Research. Since May 1, 2019, it has been owned by Danish seed group DLF.
