PGT Healthcare

PGT Healthcare was a strategic joint venture between Procter & Gamble and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, established in 2011 to operate in the global over-the-counter (OTC) consumer healthcare market. The partnership combined P&G's strong brand-building and consumer marketing capabilities with Teva's extensive pharmaceutical pipeline and supply chain. Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, the venture covered most markets outside of North America. PGT Healthcare managed a diverse portfolio of well-known brands, including Vicks, Metamucil, and Pepto-Bismol in international territories. In 2018, the partners agreed to terminate the joint venture to better align with their respective standalone strategies, with the assets being reintegrated into the parent companies.
