PGxHealth was a personalized medicine company and a division of Clinical Data, Inc., focused on developing and commercializing pharmacogenetic and molecular diagnostic tests. The company aimed to improve patient care by providing genetic information that helps physicians tailor drug treatments to individual patients, particularly in the fields of cardiology and psychiatry. Their flagship products included the Familionet test for Long QT Syndrome and tests for predicting response to antidepressants and warfarin. PGxHealth played a significant role in the development of the antidepressant Viibryd by identifying biomarkers associated with patient response. Following the acquisition of Clinical Data by Forest Laboratories in 2011, PGxHealth's operations were integrated into the larger pharmaceutical entity.
