Pharma Services Intermediate Holding Corp. was a Delaware-incorporated holding company established in 2003 to facilitate the private acquisition of Quintiles Transnational Corp. (now IQVIA). As a wholly owned subsidiary of Pharma Services Holding, Inc., the company served as the primary vehicle for holding Quintiles' equity and managing the debt used to finance the leveraged buyout led by founder Dennis Gillings and One Equity Partners. Through its subsidiary Quintiles, the company provided a global suite of contract research, commercialization, and consulting services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The entity was central to the corporate restructuring of Quintiles during its period as a private company before its eventual return to the public markets and subsequent merger to form IQVIA.
