The Pharmaceutical Business Intelligence Research Group (PBIRG) was a prominent global non-profit industry association dedicated to the advancement of market research and business intelligence within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. Established in 1961, the organization provided a platform for professionals to share best practices, attend educational conferences, and network within the healthcare marketing research community. For over five decades, it served as a primary resource for professional development and industry standards in pharmaceutical insights. In 2018, PBIRG merged with the Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group (PMRG) to form a new unified organization called Intellus Worldwide. This merger combined the resources of both legacy entities to better serve the evolving needs of the global healthcare insights and analytics community. Intellus Worldwide now continues the mission of providing advocacy and education for healthcare marketing research professionals.
