Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institute

Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institute (PERI) is an independent not-for-profit organization that provides scientific, technical, and continuing education for professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and broader healthcare product sectors. Rather than developing proprietary therapeutics, PERI focuses on workforce training across drug discovery, nonclinical and clinical development, manufacturing, regulatory review, labeling, safety, and post-marketing surveillance. Its offerings include open-enrollment courses, certificate programs, online education, and customized corporate training. The organization was established by the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association in 1989 and became independent in 1995. PERI serves industry professionals, regulators, and academics with accredited educational programming relevant to biopharma development and approval processes.
