Pharmaceutical Enhancement Technologies (PET) was a biotechnology company focused on the development of advanced drug delivery systems to improve the performance and patient compliance of pharmaceutical products. The company specialized in oral fast-dissolve technologies and solubility enhancement for poorly soluble compounds, addressing critical formulation challenges in the drug development process. In June 2006, PET was acquired by Aptuit, a global pharmaceutical services provider, to bolster its formulation and development capabilities. Following Aptuit's acquisition by Evotec in 2017, the legacy technologies and expertise of PET were integrated into Evotec's broader drug discovery and development services.
