Pharmaceutical Formulations, Inc. (PFI) was a prominent contract manufacturer and private-label supplier of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products. The company specialized in the development and large-scale production of solid dosage forms, including tablets, caplets, and capsules, for major retail chains and pharmaceutical brands. Headquartered in Edison, New Jersey, PFI operated extensive manufacturing facilities and provided formulation development services to its clients. The company was a subsidiary of ICC Industries and was publicly traded under the symbol PHFI. Following a period of financial distress, PFI filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2008, and its primary assets were subsequently acquired by Perrigo Company.
