Pharmacy Voice

Pharmacy Voice was a UK-based advocacy and lobbying organization that represented the interests of community pharmacy owners from 2010 to 2017. It functioned as an umbrella body for three major trade associations: the National Pharmacy Association (NPA), the Company Chemists' Association (CCA), and the Association of Independent Multiple Pharmacies (AIMp). The organization was established to provide a unified voice for the community pharmacy sector in its engagements with the UK government and the National Health Service (NHS). Key initiatives included the development of the "Community Pharmacy Forward View," which outlined a future vision for the sector's role in integrated primary care. Pharmacy Voice also focused on patient safety, public health campaigns, and negotiating policy changes affecting pharmacy contractors. The organization was disbanded in April 2017 following the withdrawal of the NPA, which led to the transfer of its functions back to its founding member associations.
