PharmaFab, Inc. was a pharmaceutical contract manufacturing organization (CMO) and generic drug developer based in Grand Prairie, Texas. Founded in 1994, the company specialized in the formulation and manufacture of solid and liquid dosage forms, including extended-release products for cough, cold, and pain management. In 2007, the company was the subject of a significant FDA enforcement action, resulting in a permanent injunction due to cGMP violations and the production of unapproved drugs. The company's assets and manufacturing expertise subsequently served as the foundation for Neos Therapeutics, which developed a portfolio of ADHD treatments using proprietary drug delivery technologies before being acquired by Aytu Biopharma in 2021.
