Pharmaphil is a specialized manufacturer of two-piece hard capsules for the pharmaceutical and dietary supplement industries. Based in Windsor, Ontario, the company produces a wide range of empty gelatin and non-gelatin (HPMC) capsules designed for use with powders, pellets, tablets, and liquids. Pharmaphil was acquired by the Qualicaps Group in 2007, significantly expanding Qualicaps' manufacturing footprint in North America. Today, the facility continues to operate as a key production site within the global network of Qualicaps, which is now a part of Roquette. The company is known for its proprietary capsule designs, such as the Lox-it mechanical lock system.
