Overview
Pharmaxis has developed two commercial respiratory products—Bronchitol® for cystic fibrosis and Aridol® for asthma assessment—approved in multiple global markets. Its pipeline includes small molecule amine oxidase inhibitors targeting fibrotic and inflammatory diseases. Lead asset PXS‐5505 has Orphan Drug Designation from the FDA for myelofibrosis and entered Phase 1c/2 trials. Other programs target NASH and diabetic retinopathy via partnerships such as with Boehringer Ingelheim.
