Phase One Medical was a medical device company specializing in the development and manufacture of vascular access products. The company's portfolio primarily focused on peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) and high-flow chronic dialysis catheters used for patients requiring long-term venous access or hemodialysis. Founded in 2003 and based in Billerica, Massachusetts, Phase One Medical aimed to improve patient outcomes through innovative catheter designs. In 2007, the company was acquired by Teleflex Incorporated, a global provider of medical technologies, to strengthen its vascular access product line. The acquisition allowed Teleflex to integrate Phase One's specialized catheter technology into its Arrow International brand.
