Photogen Technologies was a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of light-activated drug therapies for oncology and dermatology. The company's core technology utilized photo-active compounds, such as rose bengal sodium, which were designed to be activated by specific wavelengths of light to induce localized therapeutic effects. Its lead candidates included PH-10 for skin conditions like psoriasis and PV-10 for the treatment of solid tumors, specifically melanoma.
