Overview
PhytoTech Therapeutics developed advanced oral delivery systems for cannabinoid-based prescription drugs using a proprietary lipid nano technology licensed from Yissum Research Development Company of Hebrew University. The company completed clinical trials including a Phase II study of PTL101 (oral cannabidiol capsules) as adjunctive treatment for pediatric intractable epilepsy and a Phase I pharmacokinetic/safety study comparing novel THC/CBD capsules to Sativex®. The company was acquired by Harvest One Cannabis Inc. via MMJ Group Holdings Limited in late 2018 and does not appear to be active as an independent entity since then[3][5].
