Pilgrim Africa

Pilgrim Africa is a non-profit public health organization dedicated to the elimination of malaria and the improvement of healthcare and education in Uganda. Founded in 2001, the organization partners with international research institutions and the Ugandan Ministry of Health to implement large-scale malaria control interventions, including indoor residual spraying and mass drug administration. Their work combines rigorous scientific research with community-based implementation to develop scalable models for disease eradication. Beyond malaria, Pilgrim Africa provides emergency relief and educational support to vulnerable populations in the Teso sub-region.
