PingMD was a U.S.-based digital health company that developed a cloud-based, HIPAA-compliant communication and telehealth platform for healthcare providers. Its software enabled secure messaging, video, audio, image sharing, structured checklists, digital note-taking, and case-based collaboration between patients, physicians, and care teams, with integration into electronic medical record workflows. The company focused on improving patient engagement, continuity of care, and provider-to-provider coordination rather than developing therapeutics. PingMD was founded in 2009 in New York and later acquired by Kipu Health. Following the acquisition, the standalone company appears to have been closed as an independent operating entity.
