Pirana is a leading pharmacometrics software workbench used by scientists in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries to manage, execute, and report modeling and simulation projects. Originally developed by Dr. Ron Keizer and operated as Pirana Software & Consulting, the company was acquired by Certara in 2018 to enhance its biosimulation and model-informed drug development (MIDD) capabilities.
