Ploom, now known as Pax Labs, is a technology company that designs and develops vaporizers for tobacco and botanical materials. Founded by Stanford design graduates, the company gained prominence for its innovative approach to heating rather than burning substances, aiming to provide a cleaner alternative to traditional smoking. Their product line includes the Ploom and Pax series of vaporizers, which utilize conduction heating technology to release active ingredients as vapor.
