PMatX Innovation Lab

PMatX Innovation Lab was an Israel-based open innovation lab and incubator focused on next-generation electronics, advanced materials, and novel manufacturing methods rather than therapeutics. The lab operated in Yavne, Israel, adjacent to Merck's R&D site, and was run by M Ventures with support from Merck, Flex, and the Israel Innovation Authority. PMatX supported early-stage startups developing technologies such as printed electronics, sensing systems, computational imaging, and selected device-oriented healthcare applications. Available public information indicates it functioned as a corporate-backed incubation platform rather than a standalone drug-development biotech company.
