Polis Bio

Polis Bio is a pre-clinical stage biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of next-generation immuno-oncology therapies. Co-founded by Yale University researcher Sidi Chen, the company utilizes its proprietary functional genomics platform, known as "Polis," to perform massively parallel activation and screening of genes to identify novel immune checkpoints and therapeutic targets. Its lead program, PB-101, is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the PVR (CD155) pathway, which is highly expressed in various solid tumors and plays a key role in suppressing T cell and NK cell activity. By disrupting inhibitory signals in the tumor microenvironment, Polis Bio aims to restore potent anti-tumor immunity and improve outcomes for patients with treatment-resistant cancers.
