Overview
Polyceutix is a Danish biotechnology company and a spinout from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) focused on developing novel immunotherapies for cancer. The company's lead program, AASTY-TLR, is a copolymer-based immunomodulatory compound designed to treat muscle-invasive bladder cancer. The technology utilizes nanodisc-forming polymers that, when injected into tumors, solubilize lipid bilayers and membrane proteins into polymer-lipid particles, releasing cancer neoantigens. This process, combined with an attached Toll-like receptor (TLR) agonist, triggers a potent adaptive anti-tumor immune response. Polyceutix is currently supported by the BioInnovation Institute (BII) in Copenhagen and aims to leverage its materials science and immunology platform to create a new dimension in cancer treatment.
