Polyvac Institute

POLYVAC (Center for Research and Production of Vaccines and Biologicals) is a leading Vietnamese state-owned vaccine manufacturer and research center under the Ministry of Health. Established in 1994, the institute specializes in the development and large-scale production of essential vaccines, including those for measles, rubella, and poliomyelitis. POLYVAC operates high-standard manufacturing facilities that comply with WHO-GMP standards and plays a critical role in Vietnam's National Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI). Beyond production, the institute engages in research and development of new biological products and collaborates with international organizations like JICA and WHO to enhance vaccine technology. Its efforts have made Vietnam one of the few developing countries capable of self-sufficient vaccine production for several major infectious diseases.
