PopVax Australia is the Australian subsidiary of PopVax, an Indian full-stack biotechnology company leveraging generative AI and machine learning-enabled computational protein design to develop novel mRNA vaccines and therapeutics. The company's primary focus is on creating broadly-protective vaccines against infectious diseases and precision cancer immunotherapies. PopVax Australia was established in early 2026 to facilitate the clinical development of the parent company's pipeline, starting with a Phase I clinical trial of an open-source, broadly-protective COVID-19 vaccine candidate. The broader pipeline includes preclinical programs targeting influenza, Hepatitis C, tuberculosis, Strep A, HPV, malaria, and hard-to-treat solid tumors like liver and pancreatic cancers.
