Overview
Portal Instruments has developed a reusable, computer-controlled needle-free injector designed to deliver high-viscosity biologic drugs subcutaneously. The technology aims to improve patient experience and adherence by eliminating needles and enabling at-home administration. In partnership with Takeda, Portal's device has been evaluated for use with Entyvio in inflammatory bowel disease patients.
