Overview
Positron has a long history in cardiac molecular imaging, with its Attrius® cardiac PET system commercially available. The company’s new Affinity™ PET–CT device began clinical studies in September 2023 at Ochsner Clinic Foundation to support FDA clearance. In June 2024, Positron entered an agreement to acquire the FDA-cleared NeuSight™ PET–CT from Neusoft Medical Systems’ subsidiary, expanding its product line into both cardiac and oncology molecular imaging. Results from ongoing clinical studies will determine the commercial launch of these next-generation devices.
